We set out to document the places where the earth reveals its most dramatic contradictions. The result is a body of work that feels both ancient and urgent — a reminder that the planet is still writing its story.
In the silence of the ice fields, the earth speaks in a language older than words. We were there to listen — and to translate.
Every photograph in the series was taken under extreme conditions — sub-zero temperatures, gale-force winds, and the disorienting light of the polar night. The limitations became the aesthetic.
We used medium-format film for its tonal depth and deliberate pace. Each frame required setup, patience, and an acceptance that the light might never be right. When it was, the results were irreplaceable.
